You may have heard of lupus from different sources in the past, including the popular TV show, House, MD. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a inflammatory autoimmune disorder. It affects kidneys, joints, skins, and other organs.
Symptoms for Lupus are very general and may come and go. They are rarely consistent and may affect a particular body system or organ prior to affecting anything else. inflammation may occur around the heart causing chest pain and arrhythmias. Afflicted parties probably have pericarditis endocarditis, and myocarditis. Most people afflicted have joint pain and arthritis.
General symptoms that may occur include muscle aches, arthritis, joint pain, skin rash, fatigue, fever, muscle aches, swollen glands, nausea and vomiting, seizures, psychosis, and chest pain. However, there are even more symptoms that can occur such as coughing up blood, blood in the urine, difficulty swallowing, hair loss, mouth sores, abdominal pain, visual disturbance, blood disorders, numbness and tingling, spots on the skin, and nosebleeds.
However, this is a very complicated disease and difficult to accurately diagnose.
